OUR MISSION

Farmworker Ministry, Inc., or Ministerio al Campesino Inc., is a charitable, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) organization, missioned to empower farm workers and former farm worker families through programs fostering self-sufficiency, health care, social services, employment, education and culture. As an integrated multi-purpose center, Centro Campesino, or the Farmworker Center, serves to build community with an emphasis on the rights of women and children in an environment fostering family.

Su misión es empoderar a familias campesinas y antes campesinas por programas de fomento de la autosuficiencia. el comienzoAlthough the façade of the office has changed, the mission and values remain the same. Since the 1980s, the Centro Campesino is focused on self-sufficiency programs for all families.

los noventaActivism and social change have grown to be a focus at the Centro Campesino. Our Human Rights Committee and Employment Committee help cultivate our mission through social change initiatives.

hoy en díaToday, we look forward to the Fiesta every year. The Fiesta fundraiser keeps the Centro's programs running while providing families with affordable housing through our revolving loan fund.
